Welcome

Pan-American Systems, Inc. (PASI) has developed a technology platform for Point-of-Sales and Electronic Kiosk systems. We have an excellent opportunity to become market leaders by displacing more expensive, less capable, business system solutions. Our solution is lower-cost, easy-to- deploy, and offers increased productivity over current systems. We have created and registered valuable Intellectual Property, which is being used to position our products competitively in the Point-of-Sales market. The company’s business headquarters are located in the City of Knowledge, Panama city, Panama.

  • The company has become a center of excellence in Linux-based system design and developed the ability to integrate custom hardware and software.

Features

PASI has developed a powerful, robust, scaleable, easy-to-use and affordable Point-of-Sales and Electronic Kiosk system architecture, which incorporates fiscal and inventory control functions. Each system makes use of the Linux Operating System and features a database which accurately records transactions and generates detailed sales reports as needed by business owners and managers. They can be configured in such a way, that one system can function as server or master, and the others as slaves. However, each one contains a transaction database. Should the network go down, the systems continue functioning, becoming synchronized automatically when the network is back on line. Furthermore, these systems have been developed to support e-commerce through online ordering. They are aimed at small to medium-sized retailers, which have traditionally been ignored by top-tier suppliers, such as IBM, NCR and others.

PASI is also developing a Wireless Point-of-Sales capability which can be adjusted to work from Cell Phones, PDAs and other hand-held devices, such as the Apple iPOD Touch ™. A basic system is ready for demonstration (example is a pizza order system). We will complete development after Apple computer releases the iPHONE/iPOD software development kit in the first trimester (Q1) of 2008
